Casba is a brand new experience concept by the Oslo Fjord – created by the former owner of Villa Malla.
Here, the desert meets the Oslo Fjord in a visual and social concept that is completely unlike anything else in the area. With sand, dromedaries, warm colours, a buffet, and experiences, a place is created that people don't just visit – but remember and talk about afterwards.
A place where guests come for the atmosphere, the view, the contrasts, and the feeling of having discovered something unexpected in the middle of the fjord.
Planned opening: Summer 2026
The concept combines:
- Buffet and social dining experiences
- Experience centre and meeting place
- Visual installations and environments
- “Desert meets Oslofjord” atmosphere
The Experience Centre is being developed in collaboration with Institute of Marine Research and shall focus on how we can take care of the Oslo Fjord for future generations.
Casba isn't just about food or dining – it's about the experience of coming to a place that feels different from everything else along the Oslo Fjord.
